Xero knows that small businesses like the convenience of importing (fetching) documents into Hubdoc. However, supplier changes are increasingly restricting what the fetch functionality can do. This means that some fetch connections don’t always work and the service will become more unreliable in the future.

Because of this declining performance, Xero has made the difficult decision to close most fetch connections on 28 April 2022. This change will happen automatically.

All documents that have been previously fetched will remain in your Hubdoc organisation. Stripe fetch connections will continue to be available in New Zealand and Xero is continuing to invest in and improve Hubdoc to better meet your expectations for accuracy and efficiency.

You can still upload or email documents into Hubdoc to reduce the need for manual forwarding.
